FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) —This August 25-28, the Orangutan SSP (Species Survival Plan) is bringing its international workshop to Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Hosted by the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, the workshop will provide up-to-date information about the proper care and management of orangutans in a variety of settings.
Over 100 attendees are traveling to Fort Wayne from China, Australia, Canada, Indonesia and all across the U.S. to learn husbandry practices, training practices, conservation, birth management, vet & medical issues, and storytelling.
The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo bid on this conference and was selected due to their reputation, great meeting space and is in a great city to showcase.
